A Mageplaza Shopify app that pulls a merchant’s Instagram posts into shoppable galleries, sliders and a floating widget on the storefront. I am a core developer and its top code contributor, working across the React admin, the Node.js backend and the storefront App Block.

Highlights

Cut the storefront entry bundle by ~70%, from ~100 KB to 28 KB, by lazy-loading the feed renderer and splitting the code so a page only pays for the layout it shows.
Moved feed data to the Storefront API: a slim inline payload plus deferred metafields, a cached storefront token, scope checks and a fallback to the embedded mode.
Moved background work onto Cloud Tasks and Pub/Sub instead of running it inside request handlers.
